Hi Parents, 1. Please see the following note from our Coventry Cares Club. The Coventry Cares Club (CCC) is once again collecting socks for the Mustard Seed. Last year we collected a staggering 734 pairs! This year we hope to beat this total by providing new socks for men, women and children who are being supported by this longtime Calgary charity. There will be 4 large collection bins under the CCC bulletin board in the Grand Hall. Students will also be coming home this week wearing “Socks for the Seed” stickers as an invitation to participate! Thanks for your THOUGHTFUL support of some less fortunate Calgarians this month! 2. Little hands need little tools! Using broken crayons is a great way to strengthen small hand muscles and to encourage a functional grasp. Have broken crayons in a zipper pencil case or a Ziploc bag to practice opening/ closing containers.
