Hi Parents,
Please remember that there is no school tomorrow due to Teachers' Convention. Thanks, Kirsty Hi Parents,
1. Happy Valentines Day! Your child is coming home today with a card holder with Valentines from their classmates. If you sent in food to be distributed, I have sent it back home. Unfortunately it is against our school policy to hand out food. I realize parents and children put a lot of work and effort into the food that was sent to school and I do send my apologies! In the business of the day I forgot to distribute my Valentine cards to our morning class. I will send the home tomorrow. 1. Tomorrow is fables/legends/traditional story character dress up day. You child is welcome to come to school in a costume. Thank you, Kirsty Hi Parents, Here are the activities we are working on this week. Geoboards with elastics, shape sorting and button sorting. Decorating our Valentines Day card holders. Designing and decorating our own cards. Playing in our new Pet Hospital.

This is encouraged but optional! 3. Weekly Review in Pictures Many of our photos this week are of us playing in a large couch box.Throughout the week this box became a safari vehicle, bus, airplane house, cave and a marker/paint canvas. Hi Parents,
I have had a few questions regarding Valentines Day that I would like to answer on the blog. Children are allowed to hand out cards on Valentines Day as long as there is no candy or food attached. Some Valentines have games/stickers/tattoos attached and these will be permitted as it is becoming increasingly difficult to find cards without these. Next week, I will be stapling a list of student first names in communication books for those students who would like to make Valentines for their classmates. Thank you, Kirsty |
